A great deal! A brilliant website you can edit yourself from £850*
THE SERVICE is for a new mobile friendly website of approx. 20 pages. The design, building and consulting time is 10 hours.
This fee includes designing a simple banner, premium contact form, adding videos via YouTube, SEO and fast loading, setting up Mailerlite newsletter with a mobile friendly template.
Your site can be up and running in 3 days if you have your content ready. However it’s a process, so the time will depend on how far along you are with the content. Pam is an excellent coach, so understands this process.
Pam gives you support and offers ideas that you may not have considered. If you have an existing website Pam prepares it so the ‘downtime’ is minimal.
One hour initial discussion. Choosing and buying domain name. The theme -choice of colours, page background-white or a colour or a picture. If you have some websites you like the look of, that really helps. Or maybe you have a flier of the work you do?
Page design. Home page, Profile/About You, Products, Events, Testimonials, Services and Contact form are the basic pages you need. You can have a drop down menu if you have a lot of content such as several services or Courses.
Basic Banner design is included. However be aware that it can eat up design time, so it’s a good idea to know what you want and discuss with Pam beforehand. You will see your site as it’s being designed which gives you the opportunity to change it as it progresses.
Building your website. Pam customises your WordPress website with ‘plugins’ which offer you versatility and the ability to take payments, contact form, subscription sign up form, etc. This can be a minefield for beginners if you try to go it alone as not all plugins are safe to use and may not be updated as WordPress updates at least twice a year. Some can actually break your website resulting in a white screen.
Revisions and further discussion on the phone for any design changes.
One Hour Tutorial using a webinar service coaching you to feel confident using the Dashboard. This can be done in 2 half hour sessions.
Grow your business and build a client list. Fee includes the design of a template that you can use to email out a professional newsletter with your own logo. Plus the all important Contact Form for Subscribers placed on your site.
Pam has researched and used many of these companies and Mailerlite is now her favourite. It’s easy to manage, is GDPR compliant, offers great tutorials and is FREE for up to 1,000 subscribers.
You can add subscribers via many methods.
You can learn how to use Mailerlite via their free videos.
Search engine Optimization is built into your website.
Each page has keywords and a description so you can see how it appears in Google’s search engines. Content is the key. You can only gain a high ranking on Google if you offer good content. Also making a YouTube video really boosts your ranking. You need to set up a YouTube account with your business name.
Your website will have Gzip compression and cached via the htaccess file.
Taking Payment on your site with Paypal or Stripe
For simple transactions the Paypal plugin Pam uses is simplicity itself. You need to set up a Paypal Business account attached to a business bank account and with the same email address as your website.
Stripe is more complicated, Pam now uses it but its not easy to set up!
If you wish to sell Digital Products such as e-books, you need to purchase a paid for plugin. Pam builds ecommerce site using WooCommerce.
